Commute from MD, VA areas to one point in DC takes 1 hour.
It better be used for a portfolio creation.

Commute cost money. For some people it could easily be $30.
Decrease the workshop cost
The minimal ticket cost for the workshop in a physical space would be $65 (space rent + some food and drinks).
Get full workshop video recording
Usually, recordings are not provided by workshop hosts in a physical space.
With a remote workshop, you can watch everything multiple times at your pace.
