The Startup CTO's Toolbox
John started his career as a test engineer for a third-party test house, validating performance claims of top tech companies, evaluating hundreds of networking, security, and compute solutions. He picked up first R, then python to wrangle the ever-growing datasets and analyses

Always having a love of sensors and distributed computing, his hobbies devolved into building DIY projects of questionable utility, hacking together solutions, and designing theoretical hardware.

Has since co-founded 2 startups, first being real-time fantasy football game, and more recently at Edge Tech Labs, where he developed and launched the DrinkMate and Fret Zealot product lines.

In this most recent role, he has been involved in 5 successful Kickstarter campaigns, gained 10,000+ platform users, and has never stopped pursuing useful technologies and making/breaking things.
